Longwood Gardens PA in the fall (Part 1)

Hello everyone! It’s a rainy, cold evening at my home! The perfect time to finish an overdue blog post!
These photos are from a delightfulful trip to Longwood Gardens a few weeks ago! I hope you enjoy this and don’t forget to look out for part 2!

What does it really take to make Longwood gardens looks beautiful in the spring? Well you can see here.
The fountain shows are wonderful!
Rapunzels tower! I actually have a short story in the works inspired by this photo and the Rapunzel story.
Fall flowers! Aren’t they so lovely?!
Most people ignore the beauty of winter and fall. No matter the season there will always be something to enjoy!

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

-Emily Bronte, “Fall, leaves, fall”

We spent just about the entire first part of the trip looking for these. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!
For a girl who loves vegetables gardening the fact that they grow vegetables there is so great and fun for me!
Funny story with this photo. Normally this wouldn’t be quality enough to add to the post but since I climbed this I think it’s up to par. To be fair there were no signs saying that climbing this is illegal but considering this is a public garden I assumed it was. This was honestly SO perfect to climb so I blame them entirely for the temptation…that and the bad influence of my tree-climbing best friend Annie.
It’s honestly such a rush to climb a tree illegally so for sure do it! Oh wait maybe I shouldn’t be encouraging people to do illegal things…oops!
A honeybee on Sneezweed.
The main room of the conservatory!

So there you go! I can’t wait to share part two of this post with you! 3> I love going to Longwood and I’m going back this Christmas, so look out for that!
As always God bless and stay safe!

    And if there’s anyone who could persuade me to climb a tree illegally, it’s you or Annika!
