So, we just had a big snow storm and I was eager to go out and get some shots. Well let’s just say taking snow photo is harder than I thought. DSLRs anre very different than a Kodak Pix-Pro (my previous camera)
So I marking this as a bit of a fail, but I’m still sharing these, so I guess i’ll let you be the judge of that. Enjoy!

Well that’s the end. Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoyed seeing these. If you have any tips for taking pictures in the snow please put them in the comments!
I love how everything mundane can have a beauty when covered in snow, the old bales, the scarves.
I love the pictures definitely not a fail!

Aww, thank you! I think ferns are some of my favorite wild plants so of course, I had to take some pictures of them!

Even “bad” pictures teach you about yourself and your camera. I would not classify any as a fail… but some photos are just better than others. The ferns and the scarf add interest and color.
Photographing snow is difficult. Do not give up!

Thanks! 😉 I got the idea for using the scarf from a blog post! It was helpful and I think it saved these pictures! I’m glad I did go out and take the pictures though because it was the only time we got any snow!
